Hatha yoga classes taught to groups of mixed ability for health and wellbeing. All aspects of yoga covered - yamas and niyamas, asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, relaxation and meditation, the classes are infused with philosophical concepts.
Yamas (restraints) - non-violence, truthfulness, non-stealing, moderation, non-possessiveness,
Niyamas (observances) - purity, contentment, discipline, study, surrender.
Asana - Physical exercises and postures.
Pranayama - Breathing exercises.
Mudra - Hand gesture used during meditation.
Bandha - inner knots or locks to hold the pranic energy or psychic energy within certain areas in the body.
