Dragonflies - parent and toddler group - parents or carer
and children practice together.
-
This class encourages play
and can be a wonderful bonding experience. Sometimes the
parent provides passive movements to the child and at other
times the toddler begins to imitate the parent. Toddlers
explore and learn about the world through their senses. They
love imaginative play and repetition of favourite songs and
movement. These classes are fun and interactive with both
child and parent, meeting both sets of needs.

Monkeys - 7 to l3year olds.
-
These classes consist of a mixed group of children who are
energetic, becoming stronger and more agile. They are ready to learn good
technique in the postures, which are infused into a story or theme. There is a
great deal of emotional development taking place in this age group so
friendships take on greater significance. This is why circle time works well
in this group, as they love to chat.
The class atmosphere ranges from loud and
energetic to peaceful, quiet and calm.

-
Eagles - l3 to 16 year olds.
-
A time of many changes for this age group, these
classes explore the use of yoga techniques for stress management which is
invaluable as they move towards exam time. They enjoy a more challenging posture
session and relaxation is always welcomed at the end.
